The Honor X8b: Latest mid-range smartphone equipped with a 108 MP camera and slim profile
Honor introduces its latest addition to the smartphone market, the X8b, boasting a notable 108 MP primary camera and varying internal storage options. Positioned within the mid-range category, the Honor X8b, while not an epitome of robust computing capabilities, offers intriguing storage configurations. Notably, it stands out with its standard 8 GB RAM and comes in 128 GB, 256 GB, or even 512 GB storage options.
Under the hood, the device houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, comprising four Cortex A73 and four Cortex A53 cores, alongside the Adreno 610 GPU. Display-wise, the smartphone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, sporting a resolution of 2412 x 1080. Honor touts its display’s capability to entirely cover the DCI-P3 color space. Impressively slim, the device measures a mere 6.78 millimeters in thickness and weighs in at 166 grams.
The highlight, undoubtedly, is the 108 MP primary camera, complemented by macro, ultra-wide-angle, and depth cameras. Equally impressive is the 50 MP front-facing camera, promising superior quality for video calls. Fueling the device is a non-removable 4500 mAh lithium battery, rechargeable via the included 35-watt charger.
Notably, the Honor X8b supports only 4G network connectivity but does accommodate dual SIM cards. Currently available in Saudi Arabia, the smartphone offers three color variants at approximately $240. However, details about its availability in other markets are yet to surface.
